EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Active Construction completed the Green River Trail Improvement project and City Council
authorization is needed to release the insurance and performance bond, Staff is requesting this item be
moved from Committee to the February 2 Regular Meeting Consent Agenda.
DISCUSSION
The notice to proceed for contract 24-001 with Active Construction Inc., of Puyallup, Washington was
issued on April 4, 2024, for the Green River Trail Improvements project. The project included 700 linear
feet of concrete multi -use trail improvements within the right-of-way of the Green River Trail.
Construction was deemed Physically Complete on October 17, 2025. No formal change orders were
executed for the work since all changes fit within existing bid items or were performed under allowable
force account items.
