Call to Order
Council President Sharp called the meeting to order and asked for Council consensus to add an
item relating to an emergency sewer repair.
Public Comment
There was none.
Inclusive City Policies and Practices
Staff provided an overview.
Item(s) for follow-up:
• Refer Resolution 1970 to Equity and Social Justice Commission for review and feedback.
• Explore ways to message city's values in 2026.
Emergency Sewer Repair
Staff provided a briefing on a failed sewer line near the Outback Steakhouse on Southcenter
Parkway. Staff will ask the Council to adopt a resolution of local emergency at the November 3,
2025 Regular Meeting.
