As a center of aerospace innovation, with hundreds of established and emerging
companies in Kent Valley communities, I appreciate your continued support of our
efforts to orgri our aerospace manufacturing employers through our
Aerospace Manufacturing Employers Roundtable and also our efforts to create regional
partnerships to retain and attract new space and aerospace sector employers. By
working together, we not only strengthen our global competitive position, but we
maximize our marketing efforts and dollars.
With support from the City of Tukwila, the city of Kent will continue to organlize and
coalesce these projects across muftiple organizations and jurisdictions in the interest of
making the best use of available funds and delivering broad economic benefits to Kent
Vailey communities,
(1) The City of Kent will continue to support and guide the guide the Aerospace
Manufacturing Employers' Roundtable through 2026 as the Roundtable refines an -i
continues their various initiatives., Kent may continue to contract with the Woolsey
Group for those services.
(2) The City of Kent will contract with The Space Foundation to focus on Bus,iness
retention anid expansion in the Kent Valley and will include a space business
?,ccelerator program that wiil include a 4 -week program to educate; space and space
?.djacent businesses aboiut business opportunities aind an 8 -week program to help 0
least 7 space businesses create growth strategies.
The City of Kent acknowledges that Tukwila's funding is coming from a Port of Seattle
grant and will provide reports necessary to meet the Port and Tukwila's need for
documentation.

FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION: In support of thiese efforts, the City of Tukwila will
contribute $10i3OiOO toward supporting the Aerospace Manufacturing Employers'
Rolundtaible and $10,000 for thie City of Kent's work with the Space Foundaitioni. The
totail contract aimiount is $20,000,, The City of Tul<Ma Will issue paiymeint to, Kent upon
coimpletion of the work and within 30 days of receivi:ng an invoice.
