Between the City of Tukwila and Psomas, Inc.
That portion of Contract No. 25-079 between the City of Tukwila and Psomas, Inc. for the project
titled 2025 Annual Overlay Program is hereby amended as follows:
Section 2: Scope of Services:
Section 2 is hereby amended to include the attached scope of work `Exhibit Al'. The Consultant
agrees to perform the services, identified on Exhibit "Al" attached hereto, including the provision of
all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Section 4: Payment:
A. Payment for the work provided by the Consultant shall be made as provided on Exhibit B" (Original
contract budget) and "Exhibit B1" attached hereto, provided that the total amount of payment to the
Consultant shall not exceed $487,198.99 (Original) + $21,988.00 (Exhibit 131) _ $509:186.99 without
express written modification of the Agreement signed by the City.
All other provisions of the contract shall remain in full force and effect.

Amendment #1- S 1ST Ave S Wall
Scope of Work
January 2026
At the request of the City of Tukwila the Consultant is proposing the following scope of work
and associated budget (Exhibit 131) for plan preparation of sheets for retaining wall design along
51t Ave S. (See below reference map)
Assumptions for Amendment #1:
• Consultant will coordinate with block wall manufacturer and contract to ensure
constructible and cost effective design.
• Geotechnical exploration not included and not required for this effort.
• Utilities will not be relocated

1.1 Design Coordination
The Consultant shall provide coordination between the design team, wall manufacturer,
and contractor.
1.2 Plan Sheet Production
The Consultant shall provide retaining wall design services for retaining wall along 51st
Ave S from S 151st St to 1440 51st Ave S. (approximately 1500 lineal feet). Wall is
estimated to be between 3 and 6 feet in height. Wall is to be a block wall type and shall
contain a drainage layer behind the wall.. It is assumed wall will not require geogrid
reinforcement or geotechnical exploration. Wall is assumed to have minimum 6"
embedment.
