1. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Grant Acceptance: Waste Reduction and Recycling Grant Program
Staff is seeking approval to accept $74,220 from King County to fund projects and programs
designed to encourage waste reduction and recycling through 2027.
Committee Recommendation
Unanimous approval. Forward to March 2, 2026 Regular Meeting Consent Agenda.
B. Land Acquisition: Duwamish Hill Preserve Phase 3
Staff is seeking approval of a Purchase & Sale Agreement for $321,000 using King County
Conservation Futures grant funding to acquire two parcels to expand the Duwamish Hill
Preserve.
Item for follow-up:
Staff to provide email update to Community Services and Safety Committee regarding this
forthcoming item on the consent agenda.

C. Resolutions: Water & Sewer Comprehensive Plans
Staff is seeking approval of resolutions adopting updated comprehensive plans for the water
and sanitary sewer utilities.
