ON APRIL 13, 2026. ONCE YOU HAVE SIGNED UP BY EMAIL, YOUR NAME WILL BE CALLED UPON DURING THE MEETING TO SPEAK FOR UP TO FIVE MINUTES. You may also attend the public hearing in person and provide your comments on -site. Moratorium for Correctional Institutions and Detention Facilities (lst of 2 public hearings) This hearing is being held to consider public comment and evidence on the subject of the moratorium, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2782, which established a 6-month moratorium on the change of use, establishment, expansion, or development of facilities for the detention, transportation, and food services for people detained by local, state, or federal law enforcement. For those unable to attend the meeting either on -site or remotely, you may submit written testimony to the City Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
