Resolution No. 1306 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE
NAME OF SOUTHCENTER BOULEVARD BETWEEN
THE 6700 BLOCK AND THE 7000 BLOCK TO FORT
DENT WAY.
WHEREAS, the realignment of Southcenter Boulevard with South Grady Way
will disassociate this segment of street from the remaining contiguous street; and
WHEREAS, businesses on the affected street were notified by mailed letters of the
proposed change and were told how they could let their opinions be known; and
WHEREAS, the new street name will be associated with the regional park of the
same name; and
WHEREAS, Fire and Police concur with the request;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the street name of Southcenter Boulevard between the 6700 and 7000
block is changed to Fort Dent Way and the Director of Public Works is to
replace the street name signs with Fort Dent Way.

at a regular meeting thereof this day of ,1994.
