RESOLUTION NO. 854
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
ESTABLISHING A POLICY TO EXCHANGE THE
MAULE AVENUE RIGHT -OF -WAY FOR AN EQUAL
STRIP ALONG INTERURBAN AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council recognizes the importance of
clarifying the City's intent to develop Interurban Avenue in conformance
with the approved geometric plan, and
WHEREAS, potential development is being delayed or impeded because
of uncertainties on the improvement of Maule Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the intial property exchange is being considered at this
time subject to declaration of the City's intentions concerning Maule Avenue,
and
WHEREAS, at the March 21, 1983 Regular Meeting of the Tukwila City
Council a motion was passed to exchange the right -of -way of Maule Avenue for
a strip along Interurban.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to initiate the
action and execute the documents to exchange the Maule
Avenue right -of -way for an equal strip along Interurban
Avenue.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 28th day of March 1983
