WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
necessary for the City of Tukwila to obtain the use of jail
facilities for the incarceration of persons arrested by members
of the City Police Department, and
WHEREAS, King County, a Washington municipal corpora-
tion, has indicated a willingness to make its facilities
available to the City of Tukwila upon certain terms and
conditions which are contained in a document entitled "Contract
for Jail Services now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 Approval and Authorization The City
Council of the City of Tukwila hereby approves that certain
agreement entitled "Contract for Jail Services" to be entered
into between the City of Tukwila and King County, and authorizes
the Mayor of the City of Tukwila to execute the same on behalf of
the City
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, AT THEIR REGULAR MEETING on the 19th day of August 1985
