DYNAMIC LANGUAGE CENTER, LTD. and CITY OF TUKWILA — MAYORS OFFICE
Dynamic Language Center, Ltd., agrees to provide interpreters in spoken and sign languages and translation
services, when requested, to City of Tukwila — Mayor's Office ( "Customer "), upon the following terms and
conditions;
SPOKEN LANGUAGE INTERPRETING RATES (in- person)
(COMPLIANCE WITH STATE CONTRACT 10306)
REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS *: $50.00 per hour
AFTER HOURS *: $50.00 per hour
MINIMUM: Two (2) hour
MILEAGE * *: $0.51 per mile (current state rate)
Exception: If miles travelled are less
than 10 miles one way, no miles would
be billed.
CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment scheduled start
time are subject to a cancellation fee equal to two (2) hours. Cancellations
received outside of 48 hours will not incur any charges.
BILLING: After the minimum, interpreting time is billed in 15 minute intervals.
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETING RATES (in- person)
REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS *: $60.00 per hour
AFTER HOURS *: $67.00 per hour
MINIMUM: Two (2) hours
MILEAGE * *: $0.51 per mile (current state rate)
PARKING: Customer is responsible for paying for parking fees as applicable.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Full block of time will be billed for cancellations received within 24 hours of
interpreting assignment.
MISCELLANEOUS: A team of two (2) interpreters will be required for appointments lasting
90 minutes or longer.
BILLING: After the minimum, interpreting time is billed in 15 minute intervals.
*Regular business hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. PST;
*After hours: Monday thru Friday, 5:01 P.M. to 7:59 A.M. PST and anytime on weekend days or holidays.
* *Mileage: Calculated at round trip from the interpreter's home to the service delivery site.

Rates & terms for Court Certified and Simultaneous Interpreters will be determined on a case -to -case basis
(dependant upon requested language and availability of professionals at the time of request).
All Rates subject to modification after a period of one year from date of client signature.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRANSLATION RATES
To be quoted on a per project basis. Customer representative should contact the Dynamic Language Translation
department for a no- obligation quotation /estimate of service. Over 150 languages available.
ON DEMAND TELEPHONIC INTERPRETING RATES
FLAT RATE (Any language, any time of day): Call for Details
CANCELLATION POLICY: Pre - scheduled phone interpretation appointments cancelled with less than
12 hours notice to Dynamic, are billed for 15 minutes at the rate stated
above.
** *Client's account number and instructions for using Dynamic's telephonic interpreting services will be provided
upon execution of this agreement, if services are requested.

Billing
➢ Customer is responsible for all charges incurred; no third party billing arrangements will be made without
written approval of Dynamic in advance of the service date.
➢ Customer will be billed within 90 days after the service date. Invoice will detail the description and cost of
services, including applicable hourly service fees, parking and mileage.
➢ Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Customer will have net 30 payment terms and will be responsible for
paying all incurred charges.
➢ Dynamic is to be paid for services rendered, and Dynamic's services will in no way be considered pro -bono
even if Customer chooses to provide their own services on a pro -bono basis.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The charges for the services provided by Dynamic Language Center, Ltd., and its agents, contractors, officers,
representatives, and employees (collectively referred to as "DLC ") are based on factors such as availability of
skilled persons; and costs of continued training, general overhead, transportation, financing and insurance. In
order to offer services to Customers at a reasonable cost, and as consideration for this cost, the liability of DLC is
limited as follows:
DLC's aggregate monetary liability to Customer for any reason and for any and all causes of action, whether in
contract, tort, or otherwise, will not exceed the amount of the charge by DLC to the Customer for the service
giving rise to the claim. Customer hereby releases DLC from and against any claims related to this service and /
or this Agreement which are in excess of the amount charged by DLC for this service.
