RESOLUTION NO. 339
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CERTIFICATION TO THE
ICING COUNTY TREASURER OF SEWER CONNECTION
CIIARGES AND SEWER DISPOSAL SERVICE CHARGES
DELINQUENT FOR A PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS, ADDING
PENALTIES TIHERETO, AND PROVIDING FOR THE
ACCRUAL OF INTEREST THEREON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. That when sewer connection charges or
sewage disposal service charges of property served by the sewage
system of the City of Tukwila shall be delinquent for a period of
six months, said delinquency shall be certified by the City
Treasurer to the Icing County Treasurer in accordance with RCW
56.16.100.
Section 2. When such sewage connection charges and
sewage disposal charges are delinquent for a period of six months,
there shall be added to the total of delinquent payments a penalty
in the amount of 10% thereof.
Section 3. The certification of delinquency filed with
the King County Treasurer shall set forth the street address of the
property served, the legal description of the property served and
the name or names of the purported owners of said property. From
the date said certification is filed with the King County Treasurer
the delinquent charges and added penalties shall bear interest at
the rate of 8% per annum.
Section 4. The City Treasurer shall have the option
of recording a copy of the certification of delinquency with the
King County Auditor for the purpose of establishing an additional

public record of said delinquency, but failure to record a copy
of said certification of delinquency shall in no way invalidate
the certification of delinquency.
