ORDINANCE NUE BER 10.
An Ordinance for the improvement, by layin: a sidewalk on the
North side of Hillman Boulevard the West line of Main Street,
to the East line Rainier Avenue.
Be itordained by the Council of the Town of Tukwila:
Section 1. That the North side of Hillman Boulevard, between
the West line of Main Street and the East line of Rainier Avenue,
in the Town of Tukwila, shall be improved by the laying of a sidewalk
thereon, in accordance with Ordinance No. 5 of the Town of Tukwila.
Section 2. That there is hereby established a local improve-
ment district, to be designated as "Local Improvement District No.
2 which said district is described as follows:
All the property abutting, adjacent or approximate to
said portion of Hillman Boulevard laying between the Vest line of
Main Street and the East line of Rainier Avenue, more explicitly
described as Lots One (1) and Twenty (20), in Block Seven (7), Lots
One (1) and Thirty (30), in Block Pour (4), and Lots One (1) and
Twenty (20) in Block Two (2), Hillman's Seattle Garden Tracts.
The property included in the said local improvement dis-
trict and none other shall be deemed to be, and shall be, the prop
erty specially benefitted by the said improvement; and the total
cost and expenses of the improvement herein ordered, including all
necessary incidental expense. shall be defrayed by the collection
of a special assessment upon the immediate payment plan, against the
property included in said local improvement district.
Section 3. Provided that nothing herein contained shall be
construed as prohibiting the abutting property owner from doing this
work himself, under the restrictions of Ordinance No. 5, and the
supervision of the regularly appointed officer or committee in charge
of the building of sidewalks.
SectioA 4. This Ordinance shall take effect on and after
five (5) days from its publication.
Passed the Town Council this 29th day of September, A.D.1908,
and signed by me in open session in authentication of its passage,
this 29th day of September, A.D.1908.
