Councilmembers Present: Kate Kruller, Chair; Thomas McLeod, Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson <br />Staff Present: Laurel Humphrey, Bruce Linton <br />Chair Kruller called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESSAGENDA <br />A. Police Department Purchase: Utility Vehicle <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to purchase a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) in the amount of <br />$26,000 using seizure forfeiture funds. The vehicle will be used to access areas not easily <br />reached with traditional vehicles, such as trails, parks or in crowded open spaces <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Unanimous approval. <br />II. MISCELLANEOUS <br />Councilmember Delostrinos Johnson requested an update on both the 2020 Census outreach <br />as well as the future of the Community Connectors program, and the other Committee <br />members agreed.
