BUSINESSAGENDA <br />A. Lodging Tax Policies <br />Staff provided an overview of lodging tax and Tourism Promotion Area (TPA) funds <br />Questions requiring follow-up: <br />• Clarify the difference between lodging tax funds and the TPA fee. <br />• Provide a copy of the interlocal agreement. <br />• Understand the historical funding for SSRTA and SSVS. <br />• What services could the City do on its own? <br />• Understand better the lodging tax funds that are provided to SSRTA. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Return to committee. <br />B. City Branding <br />Staff provided an overview of marketing and branding efforts. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Return to Committee for additional discussion on use of "Tukwila" for lodging tax recipients. <br />C. Business Recovery and Phases of Reopening <br />Staff provided an overview of Washington State's plan for phased reopening of businesses. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />D.
