BUSINESSAGENDA <br />A. 202015t Quarter Police Department Report <br />Chief Linton presented the report, covering 15t Quarter highlights, significant operations, and <br />crime statistics. Committee members and staff had a discussion about current events <br />including the current wave of protests initiated by the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis. <br />Chief Linton reviewed a memo to the Council titled "A Comprehensive Report on Community <br />Policing, Use of Force and the Impacts of Bias on Our Diverse Communities," addressing the <br />use -of -force model, oversight and training, community engagement strategy, and impacts of <br />the Washington State Law Enforcement Training & Community Services Act. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />B. 202015t Quarter Fire Department Report <br />Chief Wittwer reported on items of significance during the first quarter, includingcall statistics, <br />operations, and staffing. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />The meeting adjourned of 6:57 p.m. <br />Committee Chair Approval <br />Minutes by LH <br />
