BUSINESSAGENDA <br />A. Tukwila Police Use of Force Policy Review <br />Chief Linton updated the Committee on the Department's Use of Force policies, currently <br />under review and touching upon the 6 pillars from President Obama's Task Force on 215t <br />Century Policing, the current #8CantWait proposal, use -of -force continuum, body worn <br />cameras, tracking & statistics, duty to intercede, crisis intervention and de-escalation. <br />Councilmembers engaged in an in-depth Question and Answer session specific to Tukwila <br />Police Department policy, applied practices, recent and upcoming changes, and what <br />legislative support is needed. <br />Question(s) requiring follow-up: <br />Provide a complaint summary and process report. <br />Committee Recommendation: <br />Discussion only, return to committee. <br />II.
