BUSINESSAGENDA <br />A. Grant Application: South 1151" St. Property Acquisition <br />Staff is seeking Committee approval to apply for $365,000 in King County Conservation Futures <br />Trust Tax Levy (CFT) grant funding to purchase property at S. 115th Street adjacent to <br />Duwamish Hill Preserve. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Chair Idan recused himself from making a recommendation due to his employment with King <br />County. Majority approval to apply for grant. <br />B. Ordinance: Debt Issuance <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of an ordinance to issue debt to fund the General Fund <br />portion of the Public Works Shops Phase I Project, refunding outstanding 2011 Limited Tax <br />Obligation Bonds, and refund outstanding 2014 Limited Tax Obligation Bonds <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to May 10, 2021 Committee of the Whole. <br />C. Service Restoration Prioritization <br />Staff presented the requested updates to the service level memo along with a suggested <br />phased approach. <br />Items Requiring Follow-up <br />• Move Economic Development Plan to Phase 1, including cost estimate <br />• Add Streamlined Sales Tax Mitigation update <br />• Add associated costs to departmental reductions listed in Appendix. <br />• Add information from 2020 community budget survey to help inform Council on service <br />restoration. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Forward to May 10, 2021 Committee of the Whole. <br />
