Rachel Bianchi, Vicky Carlsen, Stacy Hansen, Joel Bush, Laurel <br />Humphrey <br />Chair Idan called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESSAGENDA <br />A. American Rescue Plan Act Funding - Service Restoration <br />Staff presented several potential programs and projects thatcou Id be funded with ARPA fu nds, <br />estimated to be confirmed in July. <br />Item(s) requiring follow-up: <br />• Apply new Equity toolkitto proposals. <br />• Provide information about King County's rental assistance funding. <br />• Consider assistance to childcare businesses, particularly thosethat received funding <br />assistance in 2020. <br />• Continue to add cost detail as information becomes known. <br />• Include synthetic turf installation at Foster Memorial Parkin list of projects. <br />• Consider additional fundingfor nonprofit partners. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Return to committee. <br />B. Technology Options for Return to In -Person Meetings <br />Staff presented options for modernizing technology in the Council Chamber and Committee <br />roomsto allow hybrid in-person and remote participation at Council meetings. <br />Item(s) requiring follow-up: <br />• Return with additional detail on maintenance costs and annual licensing fees. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Committee members all expressed preliminary support for option 3to upgrade all technology <br />and modernize meeting rooms. Return to Committee. <br />
