BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Ordinance: Imglementine House Bill 1220 relatine to Emereencv. Supportive & <br />Transitional Housing <br />Staff is seeking Council approval or an ordinance that would amend Tukwila Municipal Code <br />Title 18 to comply with requirements of HB 1220 adding definitions, allowed locations and <br />criteria for various types of emergency, supportive and transitional housing. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Add 6/7/21 Planning Commission minutes to future packet material <br />• Show Planning Commission changes to draft ordinance indifferent colored font <br />• Add context or description of ramifications of not implementing HB 1220 <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to September 13, 2021 Committee of the Whole. <br />B. Wadajir Project Update <br />Staff and Forterra briefed the Committee on the status of a potential Development Agreement <br />for the Wadajir project, which proposes to build a 154,500 square foot mixed use project on the <br />old Knight's inn motel property including 100 owner -occupied units. The DA would address <br />issues including structured parking, minimum required parking, setbacks, and recreation <br />space. The next phase of the project is community outreach to collect feedback from <br />neighborhood stakeholders. <br />• Provide the TranspoGroup Parking Study <br />• Provide information on financial implications of tax exemption programs. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Return to Committee. <br />II.
