Department of Community Development Update <br />Staff provided an overview of reorganization and hiring efforts in DCD. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Email updated photo organizational chart to the full Council <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />B. Tukwila South Residential Design Guidelines <br />Staff provided an overview of the Planning Commission's recommendations on the proposed <br />multifamily design guidelines for the Tukwila South Overlay (TSO) district. Staff and the <br />applicant have reached agreement on all buttwo areas: offsite recreation and maximum block <br />perimeter. The Planning Commission voted in favor of the applicant on both, with offsite <br />recreation areas at 2.0 acres and maximum block perimeters at 2000 feet. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Provide additional graphics including map of area <br />• Provide Segale comment letter <br />• Eliminate parts of Planning Commission packet attachment unrelated to this topic. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Agree with Planning Commission on offsite recreation at 2.0 acres. No recommendation on <br />maximum block perimeters. Forward to September 13, 2021 Committee of the Whole for <br />Public Hearing. <br />II.
