BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program <br />Staff presented 10 recommended projects for implementation if funding is secured in 2021 or <br />2022. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />B. Phase 2 Prioritization for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds <br />The Committee continued discussion of possible uses for $5.78 million in ARPA funding which <br />is subject to specific criteria and must be obligated by December 31, 2024. Ideas that emerged <br />included centering equity, identifying programs or personnel to help historically <br />disadvantaged communities navigate government processes, resolve issues of power <br />imbalance, consider other funding sources for traffic calming. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Update memo to reflect previous committee input <br />• Schedule SCORE Joil presentation <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Forward to Committee of the Whole. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:46 p.m. <br />z <br />Committee Chair Approval <br />Minutes by LH <br />
