BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Interlocal Agreement: Building & Electrical Inspection Services <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the City of SeaTac for mutual <br />backup building and electrical inspection coverage. The exchange will be an hour-to=hour <br />direct trade with any remaining hours in deficit paid at $80/hour. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to November 15, 2021 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. Multifamily Property Tax Exemption Program <br />Staff briefed the Committee on potentially updating the Multifamily Property Tax Exemption <br />Program in three stages, beginning with the Southcenter District in December 2021, Tukwila <br />International Boulevard in Q12022, and a comprehensive citywide review when the first two <br />stages are complete. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />• Provide further detail/explanation on tax implications of MFTE programs <br />• Add Tukwila Valley South as anew Step 3 <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only.
