BUSINESSAGENDA <br />A. Economic Development Division 2022 Work Plan <br />Staff presented the anticipated work items for the upcoming year. <br />Items for follow-up: <br />• Add Tukwila Village Community Development Association update to the Committee work <br />plan for 1st Quarter. <br />• Engage with Police Department and property owners on a cooperative approach to crime <br />and safety in the Southcenter District. <br />• Verify if all land sale revenue is included in the Public Safety Plan financing. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />B. Tourism 2022 Work Plan <br />Staff presented an overview of tourism related activities for the year ahead. <br />Items for follow-up: <br />• Notify Committee members of engagement opportunities relating to Westfield <br />Southcenter <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />C. City of Tukwila Lodging Tax Applications <br />Experience Tukwila <br />The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee forwarded a recommendation to approve $140,000 to <br />continue contracting with True Blue Strategies to continue monthly operations of Experience <br />Tukwila and to fund one-time items including website refresh, photo shoot, video creation, <br />and email template update. <br />
