Meeting Minutes <br />City of Tukwila <br />City Council Planning & Community Development Committee <br />April 4, 2022 - 5:30 p.m. - Hybrid Meeting; Hazelnut Conference Room & MS Teams <br />Councilmembers Present: Cynthia Delostrinos Johnson, Chair; Kathy Hougardy, De'Sean Quinn <br />Staff Present: Derek Speck, Max Baker, Nora Gierloff, Laurel Humphrey <br />Chair Delostrinos Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. City of Tukwila Lodging Tax Applications <br />Juneteenth Celebration <br />The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee forwarded a recommendation to approve $10,000 for <br />the City of Tukwila to sponsor the City's 2022 Juneteenth Celebration. <br />Fiesta 5K Ole <br />The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee forwarded a recommendation to approve $5,000 for <br />the City to sponsor the Fiesta 5K Ole. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to April 18, 2022 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />B. Ordinance: Vintage@Tukwila Rezone Extension <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of an ordinance to extend a rezone in the Ryan Hill <br />Neighborhood from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential for an additional 36 <br />months from the effective date of the ordinance. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to April 11, 2022 Committee of the Whole for Public Hearing. <br />C. Tukwila Village Community Development Association Update <br />Staff provided a briefing on the Tukwila Village Community Development Association. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Discussion only. <br />11.
