ON, <br />City of Tukwila <br />City Council Transportation & Infrastructure Services Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 4, 2022 5:30 p.m. - Hybrid Meeting; Duwamish Conference Room & MS Teams <br />Councilmembers Present: Kate Kruller, Chair; Mohamed Abdi, Tosh Sharp <br />Staff Present: David Cline, Hari Ponnekanti, Bryan Still, Griffin Lerner, Brittany <br />Robinson, David DeGroot, Juan Silva Brito, Seong Kim, Sherry Edquid, <br />Tim Kirkland, Adib Altallal, Mike Perfetti, Vicky Carlsen, Dan lakopo <br />Guest: Justine Kim, Shiels Obletz Johnson <br />Chair Kruller called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />I. BUSINESS AGENDA <br />A. Public Works Shops Phase 1 Budget Request <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of an additional $1,000,000, split between the General Fund <br />and the Utility Enterprise Fund, to fund a 20 -year roofing system, exterior envelope repair and <br />painting, and parking/storage structure to complete exterior of the project. Revenue from the <br />sale of the George Long shop can be used for the General Fund portion. <br />Item(s) for follow-up: <br />Prepare to discuss any cost overruns on the interior of the project. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />No Recommendation. Forward to April 11, 2022 Committee of the Whole. <br />B. Contract Amendment: Public Works Building Tenant Improvement Project <br />Staff is seeking Council approval to amend the contract with Shiels Obletz Johnson for an <br />additional $39,240 to continue Construction Administration on the Fleet and Facilities <br />Building Tenant Improvement Project. While the project completion has been delayed due <br />to the pandemic and concrete strike, the cost is within the project budget. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to April 18, 2022 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />C. Change Order: Riverton Creek Flapgate Removal Project <br />Staff is seeking Council approval of Change Order No. 1 to Contract 20-075 in the amount of <br />$57,031.80 with AtWork! Commercial Enterprises, LLC for restoration services through April <br />30, 2024. <br />Committee Recommendation <br />Unanimous approval. Forward to April 18, 2022 Regular Consent Agenda. <br />
