9. Identify location and size of existing trees that are located in sensitive areas and buffer (TMC 18.45.040), of
those, identify by size and species which are to be removed and saved
10. Landscape plan with irrigation and existing trees to be saved by size and species (exterior changes or change
of use only)
11. Location and gross floor area of existing structure with dimensions and setback
12. Lowest finished floor elevation (if in flood control zone)

Dear Sir:
The attached set of building plans have been reviewed by
The Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the
following concerns:
1. Every building shall be accessible to Fire Department
apparatus by way of access roadways with all- weather
driving surface of not less than 20' wide and 13'6"
vertical clearance. Access roads in excess of 150' shall
be provided with an approved turn - around area. Access
shall be within 150' of all portions of the buildings.
(City Ordinance #1846)
2. When subject to vehicular damage, protective guard
posts or curbs are required around all gas meters,
electrical transformers, sprinkler valves and hydrants.
Posts and curbs are to be painted yellow. (City Ordinance
#1692) (UFC 903.4.3, 1106)
3. The fire department shall not be deterred or hindered
from gaining immediate access to fire protection equipment
or hydrants. The following item(s) were found to be
obstructed: (UFC 1001.7.1) (by compactor)
Any overlooked hazardous condition and /or violation of the
adopted Fire or Building Codes does not imply approval of
such condition or violation.
