All information should be submitted directly to Reid Middleton, Inc. 2. A 1.4 factor is used to determine the ultimate moment in the tank foundation slab on calculation page 5.11. Where ultimate strength design is used for concrete or masonry, factored load combinations that include seismic forces should be multiplied by 1.1 per UBC Section 1612.2.1, Exception 2. 3. It is unclear what factors have been used to calculate ultimate beam shear in the tank foundation slab. Refer to calculation page 3.11 and Comment 2.
