We understand the code to require the new roof system to conform to the seismic demands associated with the 1997 Uniform Building Code. As can be seen in the attached calculations, we have addressed both vertical and lateral force resisting elements. We have not provided complete structural calculations indicating overall collectors etc., as we are intending to provide those calculations when we strengthen the balance of the building. Note we are replacing the entire roof in the South addition and approximately '/z of the roof in the Original North section.
