ORDINANCE NO. 573 73
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 41.12.070
of Ordinance 345 as amended by Ordinance
365 and Ordinance 437.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 41.12.070 of Ordinance 345 as amended by
Ordinance 365 and Ordinance 437 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
41.12.070 Qualification of Applicants. An applicant
for a position of any kind under Civil Service, must be a citizen
of the United States of America, who can read and write the
English language, and must have been a resident of the State of
Washington for at least one year immediately prior to the
application date.
An applicant for a position of any kind under Civil
Service must be of an age suitable for the position applied for,
in ordinary good health, of good moral character, and of temper-
ate and industrious habits; these facts to be ascertained in such
manner as the commission may deem advisable.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Tukwila,
Washington and APPROVED by the Mayor at a regular meeting
thereof this W26 day of 1969.
