ORDINANCE NO. 556
AN ORDINANCE vacating portions of
Musiel Road (South 178th Street), within
the City of Tukwila.
WHEREAS, petitions have been filed with the City
Clerk of the City of Tukwila requesting vacation of certain
portions of Musial Road (South 178th Street), described
below; and
WHEREAS, by resolution No. 225, adopted April 21,
1969, the City Council of the City of Tukwila fixed the
19th day of May, 1969, at 8 o'clock P.M. in the council
chambers of the City Hall of the City of Tukwila, Washington,
as the time and place when the petitions would be heard and
determined by the City Council of the City of Tukwila; and
WHEREAS, due notice of the hearing upon said
petitions was given in the manner provided by law and said
hearing was held by the City Council on May 19, 1969, pursuant
to RCW 35.79; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has now determined to
grant said petitions,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Tukwila, Washington, do ordain as follows:
That the following described portions of Musiel
Road (South 178th Street) be, and is hereby abandoned,
discontinued, closed and vacated as a public street:
That portion of Musiel Road in the Northeast 1/4
of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 35, Township 23
North, Range 4 East W.M., described as follows:

That portion of Musiel Road in the Northeast
1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 and the Southeast
1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 35, Town-
ship 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., described
as follows:

Commencing at the Southeast corner of said sub-
division; thence North 87 °50'57" West 408.74 feet;
thence North 2 °09'03" East 30.00 feet to the
true point of beginning; thence North 89 °30'27"
East 36.70 feet; thence North 20 °03'27" East
301.63 feet; thence South 24 °56'33" East 79.33
feet; thence South 78 °00'27" West 30.78 feet;
thence South 20 °03'27" West 221.29 feet; thence

Beginning at a point on the South line of said
Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4, said point being
North 87 °50'57" West 776.31 feet from the Southeast
corner thereof; thence North 29 °42'27" East 89.21
feet; thence Southeasterly along the arc of a curve
to the left having a radius of 173.24 feet, the
radial point of which bears North 70 °24'59" East
through a central angle of 12 °05'10" an arc distance
of 36.54 feet; thence South 29 °42'27" West 35.94
feet; thence North 89 °30'27" East 42.07 feet; thence
along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius
of 173.24 feet, the radial point of which bears North
45° 19'13" East through a central angle of 16 °17'30"
an arc distance of 49.26 feet; thence South 89 °30'27"
West 133.11 feet; thence North 29 °42'27" East 19.65
feet to the South line of the Northeast 1/4 of the
Northwest 1/4 of said Section 35 and the Point of
Beginning.
That portion of Musiel Road in the Northeast 1/4
of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 35, Township 23
North, Range 4 East, W.M., described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the South line of said
subdivision North 87 °50'57" West 776.31 feet
from the Southeast corner thereof; thence North
29 °42'27" East 184.66 feet to the True Point of
Beginning; thence continuing North 29 °42'27"
East 52.69 feet; thence North 55 °08'33" West
64.04 feet; thence along the arc of a curve to
the left having a radius of 268.74 feet, the
radial point of which bears South 62 °56'38"
West through a central angle of 21 °44'13" an
arc distance of 101.95 feet; thence South 55°
08'33" East 188.26 feet; thence South 29 °42'27"
West 121.81 feet; thence Northwesterly along
the arc of a curve to right having a radius of
113.24 feet, the radial point of which bears North
76 °50'05" East through a central angle of 10°
54'33" an arc distance of 21.56 feet; thence
along the arc of a curve to the left having a

thence South 65 °22'03" East 229.17 feet to

West 200.69 feet; thence along the arc of a curve
to the left having a radius of 508.59 feet through
a central angle of 2 °52'30" an arc distance of
25.52 feet; thence North 63 °30'39" West 58.08 feet
to the True Point of Beginning.

W.M., described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the South line of

North 29 °42'27" East 184.66 feet from the True
Point of Beginning; thence Northwesterly along
the arc of a curve to the left having a radius
of 268.74 feet, the radial point of which bears
South 81 °28'05" West through a central angle of
18 °31'27" an arc distance of 86.89 feet; thence
South 55 °08'33" East 64.04 feet; thence South
29 °42'27" West 52.69 feet to the True Point of
beginning.

thence North 29 °42'27" East 138.38 feet to a

along the arc of a curve to the left having a
radius of 173.24 feet, the radial point of which
bears North 85 °20'05" East through a central angle
of 14 °55'06" an arc distance of 45.11 feet; thence
South 29 °42'27" West 89.21 feet to the South line
