The Regular Meeting of the Town Council was held on the above date;
being called to order by the Mayor at 8 :05 o'clock P.M.
There Caere Present:
E. W. Engel, Mayor
Trio. '0. Wold,
IJ H Miller, and
D G. Northrup, Councilmen.
The minutes of the last regular and special meetings were read:?.
%ir. Northrup took exceptions to a portion of the minutes of the
last regular meeting and asked for the following In the fourth
paragraph of the minutes of the meeting of October 11thar_d in the fourth
line thereof, the words "but failing to get a second", were 'expuriged from
the record, by order of the Mayor, on account of thefaet that a rather
fine paint of Parliamentary Law was involved, and the minutes were approve
as corrected.
Mr Northrup then asked that the following change be ma de in
the minutes: In the same paragraph as above and in the fifth line there-
of, that the 'following words shall be stricken from the record:

Clerk was instructed to issue a warrant forthwith for $100." This the
Clerk refused to do, and was sustained in his refusal by the Mayor, where

of September 13th, relating to Electric Lights, and reading as follows:
"Installation of Street Lights $100.; Maintenance of Street Lights for
year $100. be and th hereby are repealed, which motion was unanimous--
carried.

warrant already issued and in the hands of a purchaser of said warrant; a_
upon motion duly made and seconded, it was decided to tender to the holde_
of said warrant, warrant No,271 issued in favor of the Treasurer of Tuk
wila, for the purpose of creating an Emergency Fund, and to declare
VNarrant 1o.300, issued for the purpose as hereirfoefore stated of install-
Five (5) Electric Lights, Void.
The election of a Councilman"to succeed Mr. Lewis, resigned,
was postponed until a future meeting.
Clerk was requested to furni f!Fh a statement covering all Improv r
Districts in the Tovrn.
Mr. Wold was authorized to use his own judgement in taking plank
belonging to old sidewalks in the Town for iuprovement of Street Crossin
etc, and for making a temporary walk for benefit of school children on
Clarence Avenue.
Mr. Miller reports a piece of road near the "Hartford Place" _ash
in' bad condition, and asks for permission to close the street until he Al
Miller) could make the necessary repairs to make street passable. Permi
sion granted,
The Mayor appointed the following Election Committee for the
Yunicipal 'Election to take place on Decmm'oer(th next: John 0. Meld, Chat
man, B. G. Northrup and 1 H. Miller.
The following bills were read and approved, and Warrants drawn
in payment thereof: Orrillia Lbr. Co, 15.19; Lowman Hanford 3.00; S Y_
Myers, 15.00; T.W.Pierce, 4.00; halter ^lhompson, 5.00: Total X42.19:
No further business appearing, meeting was adjourned at 10:05 P.M
