In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note
the following items:
1. Per UFC Sec. 10.104(b), "A -1 doors in or
leading to exits shall be maintained openable
from the inside without the use of a key or
any special knowledge or effort at all times
when the building or area served thereby is
occupied."
2. Per UFC Sec. 10.113, "At every required exit
doorway, and wherever otherwise required to
clearly indicate the direction of egress, an
exit sign with letters at least 6 inches high
and readily distinguishable shall be maintained."
3. Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed
areas.
Maintain hose station coverage per City Ordin-
ance 11730.
All sprinkler drawings shall be prepared by
companies licensed to perform this type of work.
Drawings shall first be approved by the Washing-
ton Survey & Rating Bureau, then by the Tukwila
Fire Dept. No work shall commence without approved
drawings.
4. Fire extinguishers shall be provided per NFPA #10,
as a minimum requirement.
Install two 21/2 gallon pressurized water units and
three 2A- 10 B:C "All- Purpose" dry - chemical units.
5. Note that additional requirements such as rack
sprinklers, additional extinguishers, etc., may be
required depending on actual building use, such as
storage of flammable or hazardous products.
Please include these comments in your review of the above
mentioned project plans.

In reviewing the above mentioned project plan' ' i please not
the following items
1 Per UFC S &c . 10.104 (b) . "A doors in or
leading to exits shall be maintained openablc
from the inside without the use of d »y or
any special knowledge or effort at all times
when the building or area served thereby 1s
occupied"
2 , Per UFC Sec. 10.113, "At every required e x i t
doorway, and wherever otherwise required to
clearly indicate the direction of egress, an
exit sign with letters at least 6 inches high
and readily distinguishable shall be maintained."
Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed
areas.
Maintain hose station coverage per City Ordtn-
ance #730. .
A l l sprinkler drawings s h a l l be prepared by
companies licensed to perform this type of work.
Drawings shall first be approved by the Washing-
ton Survey & Rating Bureau, they by the Tukwila
Fire Dept. No work shall commence without approved
drawings. -
Fire extinguishers shall be provided per NFPA *10,
as a minimum requirement.
Install-two 2 %1 gallon pressurized water units and
three 2A -,1C 8 :C "Ai1- Purpose ". dry - chemical units.
Note that additional requirements such as rack
sprinklers, additional extinguishers, etc., may be
required depending on actual building use; such as
storage of flammable or hazardous products.
Please include the comments ir► yoer review of .thy &hove
mentioned project plans.
