FOR BATHROOMS AND ASMALL, RGYSAVINAREAS. CONSTRUCTION COST CUTTING REPLACEMENT FOR EXHAUST FANS, DUCTWORK AND VENTING. Here's what it does. The CA/90 Ductless Fan is an air treatment device which deodorizes, cleanses and re- freshes air through air recir- culation. It is not a masking appliance. The unit actually removes odors and contam- inants from the air. It even removes odors caused by harmful bacteria and fungi. It keeps the air you breathe fresher and cleaner. Constantly. Here's how it works. The base of the unit's oper- ation is CA/90, a patented, safe, natural substance de- rived from citrus which has powerful deodorizing prop- erties. CA/90 has been used and proven in industry and commerce for many years. The CA/90 Ductless Fan contains a quiet electric dis- persal fan and a CA/90 filter. The fan pulls polluted, con- taminated air into one end r.f iho f ........,4 ♦1.......,,,1. 11. -. r housed in the filter. Odors, dust, pollen, smoke are absorbed and removed. Cleaner, fresher, deodorized, air is then returned to the room. The fan constantly changes and treats the air. Here are the benefits. The CA/90 Ductless Fan creates a fresher, cleaner, odor -free environment, offers less design restriction, re- duces the danger of fire and smoke spreading through ductwork, eliminates expen- sive exhaust fans, ductwork and outside venting and it conserves energy. It's Code - Approved. The unit is approved for use in lieu of windows, ex- haust fans and ductwork by the three major building code bodies, (BOCA, ICBO, SBCC), plus it meets the rigid National Sanitation Founda- tion C -10 criteria for ductless bathroom devices. And, it has the Underwriters Labo- ratories seal of approval. THE 0190 DUCTLESS FAN CAN REDUCE HEATING AND COOLING ENERGY COSTS BY $50 OR MORE PER BATHROOM, PER YEAR. Heating and cooling air is expensive. So it doesn't make sense to heat it or cool . it and blow it out a bath- room exhaust. The CA/90 Ductless Fan treats the air and keeps it inside and pre - vents loss. A cost data study done by an independent engineering firm for the Sheraton Motor Inn at Ocean City, Maryland, showed a potential savings of $56.00 per bathroom. Or a total yearly savings of $13,832.00 for the all - electric, 247 -room facility. Another study by the same firm showed a power sav- ings of $115.00 per year in two -bath condominiums. In both studies, it was assumed there would be four months of cooling and four months heating. Air was exhausted through a standard 65 cfm bathroom fan. Here's how it cuts construction costs. The way to savings is sim- ple: the CA/90 Ductless Fan eliminates expensive ducted systems. It replaces exhaust fan, ductwork and venting. In addition, the unit is quick and easy to install, It can be done in minutes. The savings in multi -room construction can be up to $100 per bathroom or more. In a single family dwelling it can exceed $35 per installa- tion. The amount of savings, of course, depends on geo- graphic location, Where it's used. The unit is equally suited for multi -room construction, single unit housing and re- modeling. Hundreds of thou- sands have been installed in hotels, motels, condominiums, I I.27 /Ru apartments, individual homes and so on. The primary use is in bath- rooms in lieu of windows, ex- haust fans, ductwork and outside venting. Actually, the CA/90 Ductless Fan can be used anywhere. It's ideal for walk -in closets, for odor con- trol and to keep clothes fresh smelling. It can be used in kitchens and dens or inside utility rooms. Any small dlosed -in area where odor or tobacco smoke is a problem. Manufactured by Rush - Hampton Industries. Rush - Hampton Industries is a Florida corporation orga- nized in 1969. The offices and plant are near Orlando in Longwood, Florida. Rush- Hampton is a multi - product chemical company special- izing in air cleansing and treatment, and odor control, release or elimination. CA/90 was discovered, for- mulated and patented by the company. The CA/90 Ductless Fan is the only code - approved ductless air treat- ment device on the market. Proven in use in condominiums, apartments and America's leading THE CA /90 DUCTLELFAN SPECIFICATIONS 1. Inside measurements of unit, less grill, are 4" x 3-7/16" x 10" (see drawing). 2.
