September 23, 2013 — 7:00 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Haggerton called the Special Tukwila City Council Meeting to order at 8:26 p.m. directly following
the Committee of the Whole meeting.
ROLL CALL
Melissa Hart, Deputy City Clerk, called the roll of the Council. Present were Councilmembers Joe Duffle,
Dennis Robertson, Allan Ekberg, Verna Seal, Kathy Hougardy, De'Sean Quinn and Kate Kruller.
CITY OFFICIALS
Jim Haggerton, Mayor; Bob Giberson, Public Works Director; Mary Miotke, Information Technology
Director; Melissa Hart, Deputy City Clerk.
CONSENT AGENDA
a. Approval of Minutes: 9/3/13 (Regular Mtg.)
b. Approval of Vouchers:
September 16: #364282- 364395 and #130901 - 130902 in the amount of $1,231,848.17
September 23: #364396, 364397- 364444 and #130903 in the amount of $455,331.64
MOVED BY DUFFIE, SECONDED BY QUINN THAT THE CONSENT AGENDA BE APPROVED AS
SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED 7 -0.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement with PACE Engineers for the Sewer Lift Station No. 2 Upgrade
Project in the amount of $70,277.00.
MOVED BY HOUGARDY, SECONDED BY DUFFIE TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN
AGREEMENT WITH PACE ENGINEERS FOR THE SEWER LIFT STATION NO. 2 UPGRADE
PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $70,277.00. MOTION CARRIED 7 -0.
ADJOURNMENT
8:28 p.m. MOVED BY QUINN, SECONDED BY HOUGARDY THAT THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
TUKWILA CITY COUNCIL BE ADJOURNED. MOTION CARRIED 7 -0.
