Based on your figure of 17,297 square feet. of net floor area devoted to office.
use as.a result of the proposed tenant improvements, the following.parking'.
requirements are arrived at.
4 spaces per 1,000 square feet of net floor area (Section
18.56.160) = 69 parking spaces.
The site drawing submitted to me indicates 5,000 square feet of industrial
space leased to Hitachi, resulting in a minimum requirement of 5 parking spaces.
Thus, the total parking requirement for the building, as proposed, is 74 spaces.
The drawing indicates that 66 spaces are provided. Consequently, the proposed
improvements do not conform to the zoning regulations and a permit cannot be
authorized by this office.
