Crawley Fire Chief Al Pieper Building Department City of Tukwila Dear Al, Fire Prevention Bureau May 19, 1978 Re: Kit's Camera @ 1051 Industry Drive In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note the following items: 1. Per UFC Sec. 10.104(b), "A11 doors in or leading to exits shall be maintained openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort at all times when the building or area served thereby is occupied ". 2. Per UFC Sec. 10.113, "At every required exit doorway, and wherever otherwise required to clearly indicate the direction of egress, an exit sign with letters at least 6 inches high and readily distinguishable shall be maintained ". Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed areas. Maintain hose station coverage per City Ord. #730. All sprinkler drawings shall be prepared by companies licensed to perform this type of work. Drawings shall first be approved by the Washing- ton Survey & Rating Bureau, then by the Tukwila Fire Dept. No work shall commence without approved drawings. 4. Fire extinguishers shall be provided per NFPA #10, as a minimum requirement. Install one 22 gallon pressurized water units and two 2A -10 B:C "All- Purpose" dry- chemical units. Please include these comments in your review of the above mentioned project.
