's Distr.Facility Dear Al, In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note the following items: 1. An Automatic fire extinguishing (sprinkler) system is required and shall be installed, designed and tested per City Ordinance #730. Provide sprinkler coverage for ALL areas, ,including loading docks, entrance ways, and concealed spaces enclosed entirely or partially by combustible materials. 2. Hose stations are required per City Ordin- ance #730, 3. Fire hydrants are required as detailed in City Ordinance #729. 4. Fire extinguisher type, quantity and place- ment shall be per NFPA #10. 5. Fire Department access is required and shall be maintained per UFC 13.208 and City Ordinance #757. . Per UFC Sec. 10.113, "At every required exit doorway, and wherever otherwise required to . clearly indicate the direction of egress, an exit sign with letters at least 6 inches high and readily distinguishable shall be maintained. 7. J. Sound City Site preparation is under way on a 60,000 -sf facility for D. .1. Sound City, located on the south side of Upland, west of Andover Park West, 'Tukwila. The building will contain 7000 sf of corporate offices plus distribu- tion space for,D. J. Sound City, and will offer 28,000 sf for leasing.
