Crawley Fire Chief Fire Prevention Bureau November 20, 1978 Re: Perkin -Elmer Corp. In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note the following items: 1. Fire dampers required per UBC Standard #43 -7 (if applicable). 2. Per UFC Sec. 10.104(b), "All doors in or leading to exits shall be maintained open able from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort at all times when the building or area served thereby is occupied." Per UFC Sec. 10,113, "At every required exit doorway, and wherever otherwise required to clearly indicate the direction of egress, an exit sign with letters at least 6 inches high and readily distinguishable shall be maintained." 4, Sprinkler system required in Seminar & storage area. All sprinkler drawings shall be prepared by companies licensed to perform this type of work. Drawings shall first be approved by the Wash- ington Survey & Rating Bureau, then by the Tukwila Fire Dept. No work shall commence without approved drawings. 5. Fire extinguisher type, quantity and placement shall be per NFPA #10. Install one 21 gallon pressurized water unit and one 2A =10 B:C "A11- Purpose" dry chemical units.
