Roiad. 'Mr. Johansen filed his report in reference to the draining
of Bair: St, by the way of Ed-ward Avenue. His report consisted chiefly--
01 two estimates of the cost of the aforezaid ir_.q_-prov'erden+. The first
es represented an approximate cost of ;1J50.00, and was accom-
paried with the recommendation of the comii-ittee that it be abandoned
for the present, on account of the large experse.
The second estimate was for a less elaborate plan of drainant
and represented an expenditure of about $100,00, and was accomp-anied
by a reCorinnendaLion of t,.e cormpittee that the work be done in accord-
ance with the said second estima'e 'il�ese two reports were accepted
and ordered placed. file, and by iw jority vote the committee on
drainage ana sewers were ordered to go ahead with the work as compretl
hended ire the second report,
Mr. Hall presented the draft of an Ordinance for the Renton
Tel* Co, After come discussion in re this ordinance, the com�_ittee
were givell more time it -which to arrive at a satisfactory conclusion.
The clerk was directed to to the P,S,E and ask-,

Mr.I Secretary of the Anti-Tuberculosis League,

mitting the League to erect a sanitarium for tuberculosis patients.
