In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note
the following items:
Per UFC Sec. 10.104(b), "All doors in or lead -
ing to exits shall be maintained openable from
the inside without the use of a key or any
special knowledge or effort at all times when
the building or area served thereby is occupied ".
Per UFC Sec. 10.113, "At every required exit door-
way, and wherever otherwise required to clearly
indicate the direction of egress, an exit sign with
letters at least 6 inches high and readily disting-
uishable shall be maintained!!,:
,Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed areas.
(Sprinklers in the flammable liquid storage'room.
.shall be designed :for "Extra Hazard ".)
A11 sprinkler, drawings shall be prepared by companies
licensed to perform this type of work. Drawings
shall first be approved by the Washington Survey :&
Rating Bureau,. then by the Tukwila Fire Dept. No
work shall commence without approved drawings.
Maintain hose station coverage per City Ordinance #730.
Fire extinguisher type, quantity and placement shall
be. per NFPA #10.
Provide ventilation for the flammable liquid storage
room as follows:
a) Mechanical ventilation to the outside. with 6
.air changes per hour., or.;
b): Gravity ventilation to the outside by two, 1 foot
square openings; one top and one bottom.:
