In the reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note
the following items:
1. Per UFC Sec. 10.113, "At every required exit
doorway, and wherever otherwise required to
clearly indicate the direction of egress,
an exit sign with letters at least 6 inches
high and readily distinguishable shall be
maintained ".
2. Per UFC Sec. 10.104(b), "All doors in or
leading to exits shall be maintained openable
from the inside without the use of a key or
any special knowledge or effort at all times
when the building or area served thereby is
occupied ".
3. Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed
areas.
All modifications to sprinkler systems shall
have the written approval of the Washington
Survey & Rating Bureau, then of the Tukwila
Fire Department. No work shall commence without
the approved drawings.
4. Maintain hose station coverage.
5. Fire extinguisher type, quantity and placement
shall be per NFPA #10,
6. Insure that adequate electrical service (receptacles
is installed. This will help eliminate the future
illegal use of extension cords or other unapproved
devices.
