A Regular sleeting of the Tong_ Council was held. on the above date,
in the Council Chamber, Meeting beir-g called to order at the hour of
8;05 o'clock P.M., by the Ma.yore
There were present-.

Jno. G. Hopkins and
Frank We Johansen, Councilmen.
The minutes of the last regular and special meetings were read
and approved..
Ordinance No. 17, relating to the control of Contagious or Infec"
tious diseases, and especially to the control of a Tuberculosis Carap
was presented. By motion regularly made and seconded it wao. unani-
mously decided to suspend the rules and the foregoing Ordinance was
passed on its first, second and third readings and ordered immediate-
ly published.
Mr. Hopkins moved that the Puget Sound R.R:Co, be requested to
either move the present depot at this glace to the opposite side of
track, or build_ a new one; motionn, carried and the Clerk directed to
communicate with the R.R,Co, to that effect. 2 A
Y.r. Hopkins reports progress on the RA- *45 Improvement, but
asks for more time in which- to make definite report.
Representatived of the Renton Independent Tel. Co, were present
and presented an Ordinanee granting them a Franchise for the mainten-
ance of a line of Telephone and Telegraph in the Town; same referred
to the Committee on Laws and Ofdinances,
T%ie matter of an Ordinance regulati.rg the speed of trains through
the Town was referred to Committee on Laws and Ordinances.
The Marshal reported a balance of $2.00 left of the appropriation
of $25.00 for Hillman Boulevard and Riverside Avenue; IL-. Adeiphia
requested that it be used under his direction for certain minor improve-
ments, etc.; granted.
The Jdayor appoirted Jnb,G,Hopkins as a delegate to the National
Conservation Congress at the A.Y#P.E., with Eugene Sandahl as an
alternative.
The following bills were read and approved and warrants ordered
