Equity Diversity Commission (2 year terms)
Position #5 School District Representative Attached you will find the application of Mr. Leonard Luna,
who has applied to fill the current vacancy in Position #5. The term in this unexpired position is set to
expire 7/31/2008. These are two year terms. Rather than having to reappoint in three months, I would
ask that we make this appointment at this time with the expiration date of 7/31/2010.
Position #6 Business Representative Attached you will find the application of Ms. Brenna Arnesen,
who has applied to fill the vacancy in Position #6. The term in this unexpired position is set to expire
7/31/2008. These are two year terms. Rather than having to reappoint in three months, I would ask that
we make this appointment at this time with the expiration date of 7/31/2010.
Community Police Advisory Board (4 year terms)
Position #7 Resident The term in Position #7 expired on 3/31/2008. Ms Lynn Churchill would like to
be reappointed. Her new term will expire 3/31/2012.
Position #8 School District Representative Attached you will find the application of Mr. Jeffrey Baker.
Mr. Baker has applied to fill the vacancy in Position #8. He is the principal at Cascade View Elementary
School. The term in this unexpired position will expire on 3/31/2010.
Parks Commission (3 year terms)
Position #3 Resident Joanne McManus' term in position #3 expired 3/31/2008. She would like to be
reappointed. Her new term will expire 3/31/2011.
Unless I hear otherwise from members of the City Council before April 10, I will invite these citizens to
the April 21, 2008 Regular City Council meeting to have these appointments confirmed.
