The regular Meeting of the Toren. Council was held on the
above date, Meeting was called to order at the hour of 8;25 P.T.
by the Mayor.
There were presents
Joel Shomaker, Mayor
J. M. Hall,
Jno. G. Hopkins and
Prank W. Johansen, Councilmen.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Mr. McKibben, Secretary of the Anti- Tuberculosis Association
was present and talked at length on the subject of establishing
a Sanitarium for the cure or alleviation of that disease, within
the limits of this Town. His remarks were listened to with inter-
est and definite action on the matter, on the part of the City
Council was deferred until the next regular meeting,
A report of the Town Attorney was read and ordered placed
on file.
Upon the recommendation: of Mr. Hopkins, the work begun on
Riverside Avenue some time ago, was ordered completed,
It was moved by Mr. Nall that the Telephone Company erecting
a line within the'town be notified by the clerk, that before pro-
ceeding further with their extension, it would be necessary for
them to appear before the Council, and get a permit or franchise
from them.
The following bills were read and approved, and warrants
ordered drawn in payment thereof,

There being no further business to come before the Council,
meeting was adjourned at 9:10 o'clock F,M.
