A regular meeting of the Town. Council was held in Forester's:
Hall on the above date. 11-eeting wad called to order by J.M: Hal l,
at the hour of.8;30.
There were present;
J.R.Hall, Mayor, Pro tem.
Del Adelphia,'
J. W. Wilson,
Jno.G.Hopkins and
Frank W.Johansen Councilmen.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved;
1 Wilson of the Committee on Streets and Alleys, asked for
$100.00 for opening Bluff Street, After some discussion, it was fi
nally moved by Hopkins and Seconded by Adelphia that the said Bluff_
Street be opened, providing that -the three abutting owners:
would deed• to' the Town a right -of -way, free,and clearof all- encum-
brances.- Carried.
Mr. Wilson then asked for $100.00 for the improvement_- -of- Riverside=
Avenue, and aft6 some discussion, the request was grant ed by.the
Council,. with the understanding that after-the hill at the nort2i end;
of the Avenue- had been improved, so as- topermit; of travel, and _the
building of a sidewalk, $15.00, if it can =possibly b e _spared, shall bed
spent in the further improvement of the Street, at or neax Mr.Tate`' s
place.
ldr. Johansen roved.:that the committee find out how much mane- T

could be used for these various purpose and report back to the-6 unc`il.

Mr. Hopkins stated that a meeting would be held at Mr.
residence on May 27th in re Churches, Schools, etc., and alsorat
matter of a switch would taken up,�°
The Committee on Drat. nage were given two weeks more time` -to'
report on the construction of 'a sewer to drain low land,
At the hour of 8.55,there being no further business to transact
Meeting was adjourned.
