J.M.Ha.11 was elected Mayor pro tem. There were J. Me Hall, Del Adelphia., J. W. Wilson, J.G. Hopkins and Frank W. Johansen, Councilmen: The minutes of the last ne eting were read and approved. Committee on Streets 'Alleys reported that the Culvert and hole, reported at the previous meeting as dangerous to traffic, had been repaired. Mr..Adelphia asked the Council to direct stwnps at Core Hillman Boulevard and Riverside Avenue to and Mr. Hopkins asks for an _appropriation of $100,00 to open up Bluff Street. Referred to committee: .on Streets and Alleys, �ftcity Attorney was present and was asked to advise on the matter of opening the streets closed by residents for private purposes, and as a result of his advice, the Marshal was directed to open up all such streets,. A resolution was adopted to the effect that the Committee on Railroads act ir: conjunction with the Attorney, for the purpose of getting a new Depot, a Sidetrack, and sucIi other improvements as would regularly come through or from the Puget Sound Electric Rly, Coe, and if necessary earn: the matter to the State Railway Commission, :,Wilson moved that Committee on Sewers and Drainage be given more time to which to report on a means of draining the love ground of the tovm under tree ReReTrack, or otherwise. Carried, ]dr.: ��ilson reports that the County Commissioners are ready and --,willing :to. connect the "County Road" -with Hillman Boulevard. .Adelphia moves. that the Clerk instructed to purchase lumber to complete sidewalk in District No. 5, the incompleted portion of said district embracing Lots 11, 12, 13, 20 and One half of Lot 10, Block Carried, Marshal directed to blow stumps.on Hillman Boulevard, and clean 'thetr -het of--brush, debris etc. Adelphia meized -teat the people be asked to clean up the streets g erally.
