The Clerk being absent the chair appointed J,M,Hall -as cIe "e pro tem. Ile Those present were, Joel Shomaker Mayor J,V-1,Wilson F,W, Johansen Del Adelphia and Councilmen J, M, Hall Minutes of last meeting read and approved. The Committee on Law and Ordinance,submits a writ en report` recommending that the Ordinance,granting an 50year exclu'sive`s franchis6`- to Messrs,Adams and Vielholland,be layed on the table,untill future development of our own coporation. Mr, Johansen moved and it was second, to except the report,. and lay it on the table,carried. Mr,Adelphia gave a talk in favor of recomsidering -ruled .out of order untill next meeting. Street and Abby Committee nothiAg to report. Committee on Town Property report the'door gone and one window broken in depot;was found that the door was taken off to expasE disorderLwithin. It was thought that TY?r;Woodward would build a depot on the o;tr 41but would not give us two depots. Mr,Adelphia thought we aught to have a depot on hoth sides.:: Tir, Johansen moved and it was second, that a Com..mmittee on Town Property should see Coln,' +oodward the subject,carried.
