Johansen and Councilmen. J, M, Hall The Clerk being absent on account of si €kness,the Mayor appointed J M,Hall as Clerk pro tem. The minutes of last meeting read and. approved, Ordinance No, 15 read by title,the second reading,passedan.d ordered print&dg bir,Wilson for the Street and Alley Committee,stated that Col, .Woodward had said that his Company would fix_up the crossing over tracks and, right -,of -way, if the Town would fix the street and ppproaehes at the tw ®.sdes,arzd that he ree©mend that.the Committee be authorized to fix up the,.Streets at a esti ated cost of $100,00 moved by Mr,Johansen and seeoned by Mr. Adelphia to make the improvement of the Street of planking 20ft,by 40ft,withan approach from Mr,Blankinships barn and to continue -South on Maul Ave,to high ground.Mr,Adelphia Nought lst,Avc,should be takers in consideration, Mr, Johansen withdrawes his motion and the Committee vas.. given :sore- time; Mr,Adolphia submits plans of the conture of'the ground on Hillman" Boulevard, froze Main Street, to .the corner of Mr, Berg's fence. Mr,Wilson'e.xplained that he had no report from the property owners except: complaints.Moved that the Blue Prints bey refered to the Street and Alloy Committee,and call a meeting of the. property owners interested and settl& on some definent plan or a pitition and report at next meeting of the C©uncil,earried. The Street and Alley Committee recommend the renting of a strip of land on Lot 16,Block 17,for street purposes,Committee givers rag_re,time to find the owner and what it could be rented for.. Mr,Wilsoxi tkaught ,as the Standard Furniture Co,was paying well for its elseware,it should pay for its advertizing on Tukwila.'.s property,the Committee reoamend that it be torn down. Mr, Adelp#ia did not see the use of taking down what we wanted up there, that it could be made 'over so as to look simular to the Faster or Riverts depot.
