There were Present; Joel Shomaker May or,. J, Vii, Hall, 1 J,W Wilson Del Adelphia, Councilmen.. Frank Johansen and J, C, Hopkins. The Clerk being absent on-account of sickness,the `Mayer appon- ted J, M, Hall as Clerk Pro Ten. C1 r pr o- Mr. Johansen brought the matter of the improvement of the crossing of Reitz Avenue and the P,S,E,R'y. Referred tei:Commit.tee an Streets and Alleys. Adelphia moved that a large map, for use in the Council Chamber, and six small maps for individual use of the Mayor and members of the council, be procured from the Anderson Map Co. Carried, and the clerk instructed to procure them, Yr. Hall stated that a certain, worthy, blind woman desired to give a lecture in the Town, and after some discussion the permission was granted and the regular- license fee ordinarily collected in such cases ordered suspended, (For the occasion). The following bills were read, and warrants ordered drawn in their payment. N.A.Niskern, hauling; stone, etc., $3.00 O.B.Williams '�Iindows for Depot, 3450 Hall Rent, Jan." 12th and 26th, 5.00 T a t a 1 $9.50 The Clerk was also allowed $2,50 for Stationery to date, Mr. Adelphia stated that he had succeeded in "finding a company who were willing to put in a plant for public and private lighting in the Town, provided they could get sufficient encouragement it the ,way of subscribers for current._ Mr. Adelphia moves that the Town employ Mr. Kline to establish grades throughout the Town, Referred to Committee on Streets and Alleys.
