We have received revised plans for the proposed Segale Business Park and have
reviewed them for compliance with Chapters 23 through 29 of the Uniform Building
Code. Here are our comments:
1. Provide special inspection per Section 305.
2. Indicate purlin sizes on west side of building.
3, Indicate wood column sizes on west side of building.
4. Indicate hinge connection for drop -in beams.
5. Concrete all panels over height.

In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note
the following items:
1. Per UBC Section 3302, no point in a sprinklered
building may be more than 200 feet from an exit,
measured along the line of travel.
2. Per UFC Sec. 10.104(b), "All doors in or leading
to exits shall be maintained openable from the
inside without the use of a key or any special
knowledge or effort at all times when the build-
ing or area served thereby is occupied ".
An automatic fire extinguishing (sprinkler)system
is required and shall be installed, designed and
tested per City Ordinance #730.
All sprinkler drawings shall be prepared by compan
ies licensed to perform ,this type-of work. Draw'ngs
shall first be approved by the Washington Survey &
Rating Bureau, then by the Tukwila Fire Dept. No
work shall commence without approved drawings.'`
